Armistice Day
It was a surreal experience to sit behind a row full of sailors and marines at an NFL game on Armistice Day. These two guys were enjoying the game, so I took the opportunity to snap a shot while the Bears and Lions were playing down below.

Sailors
This was taken on the walk home from work at about 19:30 last week as the sun was in a really nice and low spot in the sky creating all sorts of great long shadows as I walked. I took about four shots of some really boring subjects before this one. Finally I got to within a good distance of this group of sailors walking towards the west side of town and tried to snap it so that the leading lines on the right were in good proportion to the sailors on the left of the frame. I didn't want to get too close before taking it because I wanted those shadows to play into the photograph.
