VISUAL Diary
An attempt to subvert social media and stay in touch with those around me. Remember when Instagram was for sharing photos?

Free Art
This is a photo called ‘Free Art’ in reference to the fact that my wife and I decided to keep the walls of our bedroom naked. The light in Iceland can create some beautiful lightscapes in the fall and this one kept appearing on our wall. Love the texture of it. I might have to put up a blank canvas next year and trace this shadow.

Techno Wizard
Mood is something that I am always looking for when I take portraits. This was taken around 5:30 in the morning heading home from a friend’s home and there is something really special about the quiet of that time of day. The only light comes from street lamps, so the unnatural feel is really quite nice.

Fort Pitt Tunnel
I had always heard about this tunnel entrance to Pittsburgh; so much that the experience of driving through it had almost become mythical. To experience the moment when you drive through the tunnel and then come up onto this really cool city feels like you are being launched out into this new world, a city that has a lot of character and really great people. I had to get an image of it and it just so happened that you go right by it on the way to the funicular incline.

Framtiðin
The smiles of the future generation are enough to solve the problems of any man's life. Maudlin or not, that's the reality of my life. I am never as happy as I am when my wife and daughter are hanging out with me and getting into new adventures together. The truest form of happiness is enjoying someone's company. The real antonym of lonliness is happiness.
