I snapped this behind the scenes on a set I was a part of building for the League of Legends World Championships. This team was one of the finalists and apparently quite good; they were billed as the team to beat and then they went on to lose. The set build involved a month of building and tearing down set after set to make these feature videos to introduce the competition and players. This one was a combination of previously built sets, involving multiple tons of grass turf, real trees, columns fabricated off-site, and a whole lot of heavy lifting.

Here’s a photograph from Flateyri two summers ago. The sun was bright as can be and I wanted to freeze Maggie mid-jump to created the floating look you see. Fast shutter, stopped down to 4.5, and a low ISO to make everything extra crisp.

Happiest of birthdays to my wonderful wife! Super lucky that I dropped some rolls off at the local film shop this week and got back one of the most incredible photos of her I have taken. Just in time to post it for her birthday. She’s an incredible human, mother, and partner.
