VISUAL Diary
An attempt to subvert social media and stay in touch with those around me. Remember when Instagram was for sharing photos?

Vetrarþoka // Winter Fog
On my way home from a short gig, I saw the fog had not lifted in the swamplands near the airport in central Reykjavík so I stopped and took a short walk to find some things to capture in the dreamlike state I was in. Rather proud of the results from the day, they came out looking as well as I had hoped.

Buxur
In the last year plus worth of time, there have been moments when things just feel like they were maybe five to ten years ago, objectively normal moments. This past summer a group of incredible people came together to throw a rave and dance all day and all night. Everything was special leading up to it until they started posting “No Cameras” in the channels. What was I going to do? Obviously, I’m bringing my camera and taking as many discreet photos as I can. Luckily, the host of the party grabbed me and asked if I brought my camera because he really wanted to get some photos and gave me a pass to shoot as many as I wanted. Lesson learned, as always, never leave without my camera and never back down when it comes to what you do and love. It is in your blood and will remain the most important thing to do until the end.
Once more we interrupt your regularly scheduled program.

A new human life has has begun! We are overjoyed to say the least. He arrived early yesterday morning in the comfort of our living room; with candles lit and music playing as he began his journey in this mortal world. What the future holds for him, only time can say. But what we can say is that we will make sure that he is taken after and brought up as best as humanly possible. His whole family is looking forward to showing him the path to happiness and teaching all the lessons on how to be a good human on this rock floating through space.
